ZephyrTV — Privacy Policy

Introduction

ZephyrTV ("the App") is an IPTV player application for Android devices. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

ZephyrTV is designed with privacy in mind. The App operates primarily on your device and does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers.

• Playlist URLs: The M3U/M3U8 playlist URLs you enter are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your playlist URLs or their content.
• User Profiles: Profile names and settings are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage.
• Watch History: Your viewing history, favorites, and playback positions are stored locally on your device only.
• Parental Control PIN: If set, the PIN is stored in hashed form on your device. We cannot recover or access your PIN.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal identification information
• We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry
• We do not collect device identifiers
• We do not collect location data
• We do not use advertising SDKs or trackers

Network Connections

The App makes network connections solely to:

• Download your IPTV playlist from the URL you provide
• Stream media content from your playlist's stream URLs
• Download EPG (Electronic Program Guide) data from the URL specified in your playlist
• Load channel logos and VOD artwork from URLs in your playlist

All network connections are initiated by you through the playlist URL you configure. We do not operate or control the servers your playlist connects to.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device using Android's standard storage mechanisms (Room database and DataStore). Data is not backed up to external servers. Uninstalling the App will remove all stored data.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party libraries for functionality:

• Google Play Billing: For in-app purchases (premium features). Google's privacy policy applies to billing transactions.
• Media3 (ExoPlayer): For media playback. This library operates locally on your device.

Children's Privacy

The App includes parental controls that allow parents to restrict content access with a PIN. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
